I wish more people would warn applicants and even professionals. "Sheilasmom" is not a great name for a resume. Another point is to have your own email address. I'm surprised how many people share email addresses with spouses, children and heaven knows who else. I even recommend getting a private phone number for the job search - a phone only *you* will answer - and don't depend on anyone to take messages. Use a reliable voice mail system or even a machine that only you can reach. I'm sure every career consultant has heard horror stories of phones that were answered by children or messages lost by teenagers and visiting in-laws. Excellent points!
