Santa Has a Resume!

santa-resumeWinter has returned, albeit early. Yikes! What is all that white fluffy stuff falling out of the sky?

The Christmas season is being commercially forced upon us. The shops are packed full of enticing merchandise, and the television stations are showing endless advertisements pertaining to gifts. It’s hard to avoid the upcoming season.

So, what about Santa? We see him portrayed all the time. Does he have a resume? Yes, of course! He called me not long ago before, his life became really hectic. I was really honoured to have him as a client! Like all my client’s he was treated as unique. I wrote his resume portraying him as an expert in his sector. What a guy! Santa is so proud of his new resume.

Working with Santa was a great experience. As a Certified Professional Resume Writer, I like to be challenged. On to the next challenge.

How about you?

I wouldn’t hire anyone who shows up with a 4 page resume, 1 of which is blank and 1 of which has just one line on it, but I still give an A+ for creativity.

Thanks Jacob, you’re right – a 4 page resume would be a bit unwieldy! That’s why Santa’s Elves took another look at the formatting and realized it was getting mangled in translation. Now it’s been reloaded as a PDF so you can see how it was truly meant to be. Thanks so much for pointing that out.

Most jobseekers depend upon expert resume writers – which is a sensible thing to do. Such professionally prepared resumes stand a better chance of catching a recruiter’s attention.

But it is no more enough to “ catch attention “.

A resume must succeed in “ amazing “ any recruiter – by being “ Interactive “.

In a resume, a recruiter should be able to find additional information about a candidate by

    > viewing “ analytical “ graphs – rather than reading

    > clicking on “ knowledge / skill “ –related keywords

    > clicking on Candidate-Name / Birth date / City location

You will find this at http://www.CustomizeResume.com

I will appreciate suggestions for further improvements.

    With regards
