A positive job search could lead you to your passion!

July 9, 2008 by Martin Buckland Leave a Comment

You may not be feeling very positive if you are in the middle of a job search but Joel Zeff has offered some terrific advice in his recent article, “Staying Positive and Energized During a Job Search”.  In this month’s CareerSmart Advisor published by ExecuNet, he suggests this should be one of the most exciting times of your life.  You are at the beginning of something new!  And if you ask yourself, “What work would I do for free?”, and then figure out how to get paid for it you just might discover your passion and not just a job.

“Create an environment of opportunity and positive support and you will be amazed by what you can accomplish.”  “When we are happy and having fun we are more creative, productive and effective.  We are better leaders.  The choice to take ownership of your attitude is an important key to everyone’s success.”  Further to Joel Zeff’s quotes, he elaborates on the following points of advice:

“Stay in the Game and Be Batman”
“Always Be Open and Flexible to Change”
“Take Responsibility for Your Passion, Energy and Happiness”
“Be in the Moment”
“Create Opportuntiy and Positive Support”

Whether you discover your passion or your job, be sure to enlist the help of a Certified Professional Resume Writer for a free resume critique or to create a resume that makes you stand out from the competition!
