Today’s message I want to relay is: don’t, don’t be humble in your resume.
When you write your resume, you need to excite; you need to really get the juices going in the reader’s mind. You want to get them to pick up the phone and give you a call. So, you have to contain on your resume many, many performance-driven stories. There’s a rule of thumb: one and a half-star story, situation, task, action, result-star stories, every year, one and a half. So, be bold, be brassy, and sell yourself.
